Default Calfee Design

Hi all,

I'm considering working for Craig Calfee at Calfee Design. Anybody want to
share their thoughts, facts, and/or experiences with Calfee bikes, the
company, or Craig himself?

Thanks for your comments,

Byron

I hear he gets really ****ed when people solicit comments about him on
Usenet.

I have met Craig and he's a great guy. He's smart, knowledgeable about his
product and supports it well. He even came to my house, twice I live in SF,
once to deliver my repaired frame (older ti band water bottle mount came
unglued) and a 2nd time to inspect a gash in the clearcoat. All and all a
great guy whose product I would highly recommend!

However, I have never worked for Craig. I recommend you do a search on both
the new and old calfee forum and look for the discussion of his "falling
out" with Fast Freddy Markem. It sounded ugly. Then again, I don't have the
whole picture, so I'm not sure who's at fault.

My only experience is with the framesets which I think are the finest carbon
frames made today. We have sold a lot of them.

I'm very happy with my Calfee Luna Pro with S & S couplers, which I've ridden
locally and also have taken on several trips. I haven't had to send it back
for anything but the company has a good reputation for service.
