Default Replacement cones for Campagnolo Nuovo Record hubs

Anyone know of a source for them, or for reliable substitutes or reasonable
facsimiles? Will Nuovo Tippo do? (Mine have developed pitting.)

At https://www.universalcycles.com/shop...s.php?id=42877 it
appears that Item 42877-202771 will do the trick for my rear hub. Is item
42877-202764 going to do the trick for a 1974 vintage Nuovo Record front
hub?

We do. But so does any reasonably competent shop which
regularly services bicycles.

Nope. That's for Campagnolo's wonderful 1999 and later hubs.

Good quality steel.
In theory you could build a long narrow hearth from
fieldstone facing the wind and get a manzanita fire going
hot enough to anneal it, then using a bent tree branch and
hand woven fibers for rope, fabricate a bow lathe, turning
the cone with a rock to match your Campagnolo cone's
curvature. Back to the hearth for tempering and Bob's your
uncle. Well, except for that m10f26 axle thread.
