Default Lorry driver caught on phone gets all shy and coy

QUOTE:
"A cyclist who published helmet cam footage of a driver using a mobile phone while queuing in traffic has been threatened with legal action by the hire firm which owns the vehicle. JM Clark Ltd Road Sweeper Hire told YouTube user Dr Morocho that it would seek damages for use of its company branding on YouTube."

HOWEVER!

"Guidance from the NPCC of England, Wales and Northern Ireland states: "There are no powers prohibiting the taking of photographs, film or digital images in a public place. Therefore members of the public and press should not be prevented from doing so."

Failed at the first hurdle, pal.
Nice, original wriggle though.

Why don't you cyclists mind your own ****ing business? You are NOT police, you do NOT enforce the law, get on with your sad little lives. The lorry driver did NOT hurt anybody, you are attempting to predict the future. No harm was done, move on, **** off, go and build a model aeroplane or something. Some people can multitask, don't assume he can't.

No more dashcam footage showing crash for cash scams then? Or is that different?

A crash is most certainly different, actual harm was done to your vehicle.

I am actually considering crashing deliberately into one of my neighbours. Three times he's stopped on the wrong side of the road, directly in front of me, then reversed into his drive. I had to brake hard to avoid a head on collision. Next time I'll glance at the camera to make sure it's rolling and carry on.

Relevance to anything here : nil

TOM CRISPIN is one of the saddest people on usenet. He is a failed teacher.
He is a well known stalker, having scoured the internet for personal details
of other posters, which he has then posted. These included family photographs of children - and address details.
He publishes the full address details of people who have had an incident with a cyclist.
The only reason he would do this is to encourage vigilante action.
He finds it necessary to tell people on usenet how well off (he thinks) he is, at every opportunity;
he must think people are interested and that they believe him.
He is also a pervert, having described his thoughts of female sex organs sliding down car windscreens.

Tom Crispin is a cyclist and clearly mentally ill.

That is a very great compliment coming from you.
I ride a bicycle, and we all know that you think bicyclists are the
****witted pits of humanity.
I really feel complimented by that, because you said it.
So now please vomit out towards me the further excellent compliment of a
putrescent mass and a walking vomit.
That would be so appropriate emanating from you like a vile sticking crap-
filled miasma.
