Lorry driver gets a soaking
A video shot in Mitcham, South London yesterday shows the jaw-dropping escalation of a road rage dispute between a truck driver and a cyclist. When the cyclist squirts water through the driver’s side window, the flatbed truck is steered towards him in response. http://road.cc/content/news/199877-l...rted-water-him |

So about par for the course for a chav on a bike. In fact, I recall several bouts of spluttering rage here from cyclists when they have learned that other cyclists had been subjected to a jet of water from a water pistiolo in the hands of a car passenger (though objectively, a jet of water is what many cyclists badly need, though preferably only when dismounted). |

It's referenced on that page. The cyclist's behaviour is childish in the extreme. Not to m ention aggressive and dangerous. The motor vehicle was clearly out of control because the driver was temporarily blinded or otherwise distracted by the aggressive actions of the chav on the bike. The correct way for a driver (or passenger - especially if female) to deal with a chav on a bike who wants to give "words of advice" is to close the window as he tries to do and to just ignore the chav on the bike. |

The motor vehicle was clearly out of control because the driver was temporarily blinded or otherwise distracted by the aggressive actions of the chav on the bike. Agreed - squirting water in a driver's face while he's operating a large vehicle is downright stupid. The cyclist should have been jailed. The correct way for a driver (or passenger - especially if female) to deal with a chav on a bike who wants to give "words of advice" is to close the window as he tries to do and to just ignore the chav on the bike. A fist would be more effective. Remember, cyclists can fall off. -- An elderly couple go to church one Sunday. Halfway through the service, the wife leans over and whispers in her husband’s ear, “I’ve just let out a silent fart. What do you think I should do?” The husband replies, “Put a new battery in your hearing aid.” |

Jail the cyclist immediately. There used to be saddoes on here who used to deliberately adjust their windscreen washers to soak any cyclist who happened to be behind them AND it wasn't even water but had organic solvents in it. Could have burned their eyes and caused them to crash into a lorry, but they thought it was a laugh. |

It's just detergent. Could have burned their eyes and caused them to crash into a lorry, but they thought it was a laugh. Blinding a cyclist only harms the cyclist. Blinding a lorry driver could kill innocent people. -- You can get a lot of STDs from loo seats, but only if you sit down before the last guy's got up. |
