Spring cleaning! Coppi Galaxy frame, Record Carbon seatpost, Forgie stem
Spring cleaning! Get first dibs now before it all goes on eBay tonight.
First, a fixed/hub gear special: Coppi Aluminum Galaxy frame and Look HSC carbon fork w/ 1" carbon steerer. 60cm, almost perfect except for broken derailer hanger. This is quite a beautiful and interesting frame -- all aluminum, but with big, smooth gussets that give the appearance of a carbon frame. Craftsmanship is excellent -- nicer than Klein, Cannondale, etc. It's lightweight, maybe 3.5 LB, which combined with the all-carbon fork makes a very light combo. Though the tubes aren't as fat as a Klein, etc., it's plenty stiff -- I never had any chain rub while climbing, etc. Besides the fork it also includes a Cane Creek Aheadset, Shimano Ultegra Octalink bottom bracket for triple crank, and machined black Campy seat tube collar. You can find a description, specs, and picture of this frame at http://www.repartocorse.com/, under "vintage frames." Sorry I can't provide a direct link because their site uses HTML frames. I don't know what to ask, but I'd be happy to get $150, which is a good deal for all this stuff together. Also: Campy Record Carbon seatpost, great condition, 27.2mm, $60. Great two bolt forged clamp with very fine teeth, easy to adjust, won't slip. 3TTT Forgie stem, threadless style, 120mm x 5deg. Perfect condition. $25. I love this design, but I don't need this stem anymore. Buy now before it all goes on eBay. Matt O. |
