1) After his 8 years fighting road construction the powers that
be have decided to build roads through the last remaining wilderness
areas in the country.

2) After years of Mike's efforts against MTBingm the National Park Service
has formally recognized mountain biking as a positive activity and
compatible
with the values of our National Park system.


It appears that Vandeman is as valuable to MTBing as Delay is to Democrats.
