How long to previous performance level after injury?
ChrisC, if your pain does not go away within what you consider to be a
reasonable time, I would suggest that you insist that the surgeon go back into the surgery site(s) arthroscopically to check for unintended entrapments in the mesh, or places where the mesh is attached to your fascia that are unduly pulling on the fascia or other tissues, and to make sure that the mesh is indeed preventing intestinal intrusion into the inguinal canal, as it is supposed to do. All of these things can be corrected in a minimally-invasive arthroscopic surgery. Screw that **** about the nerve blocks, etc. There is no need for that crap if the surgery was done correctly! |
