Interesting "Health" article...
The Health section of today's LA Times says that use of Viagra and its
competitors is spreading fast to younger men - the under 45 age range tripled in insurance reimbursement requests from 1998 to 2002. Doctors are reporting requests from men as young as 16. And, in a companion story, a study funded by the German Research Foundation and Pfizer reports Viagra is helping both men and women mountain climbers breathe more easily while climbing at extreme altitudes (such as Mt. Everest). It seems to help at sea level as well (although it wasn't tested on elite athletes, it has been tested and used on race horses), and is NOT banned by sporting organizations! I wonder if any elite athletes have started using it yet? |

Yeah, you gotta wonder if the breathing benefits would offset the difficulties of riding with a big ole' boner. Bob C. |

I figure hard pedalling and the frenzy of competition would offset the sexual response. But if a rider were to pin some graphic pornography the jersey pocket, a juiced up breakaway partner might find himself distracted, and suddenly lacking a half a liter of blood volume. |

Remember the Cinelli stem that Cipo used with the pinup on it back in the mid-1990s? |

In a race situation, "leaving something to the imagination" isn't going to cut it. |
