Default Predict a winner - Womens RR

Points to ponder

Cookie (GBR) is defending champion

Judith Arndt (GER), a week ago won the International Thüringen
Rundfahrt der Frauen 2.1

Marianne Vos (NED], a week ago won the Tour Féminin en Limousin 2.2

Clara Hughes abandoned at Thüringen and is in any case just a couple of
months short of 40 and packing (perhaps) more weight than is ideal for
the course even though she's training in Surrey with the last 4 days
around East Horsley

Davey will stick his neck out and go for Marianne Vos.

You call that sticking your neck out? She's as close to a racing certainty as
you can get in a bicycle race.
