M12 means that the diameter is 12mm? I Googled it but just found strange results... -- pedrotejada *BUT* Brazilian Unicycling Team Add me on 'FaceBook' (http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1284254657) Add me on 'MySpace' (http://www.myspace.com/pedrotejada) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pedrotejada's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/14471 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/73033 Posted Via Usenet.com Premium Usenet Newsgroup Services ---------------------------------------------------------- http://www.usenet.com |

Yup, M12 means the bolt is 12mm in diameter. This is probably way more info than you want but try this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_metric_screw_thread This one's a bit simpler but has some other useful info on other pages http://www.boltscience.com/pages/screw6.htm Not sure why you need the diameter but if you are changing them you'll also need the length of thread. -- Gadge "Natural logs are what you ride on a Mun'e'." - kevinalexandersmith (Thanks to Harper) So are imaginary logs what you ride on a Mun"i" ? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Gadge's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/17136 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/73033 Posted Via Usenet.com Premium Usenet Newsgroup Services ---------------------------------------------------------- http://www.usenet.com |
