Magnesium bikes
I would just like to say that after reading the archived section on magnesium frames ie Kirk frames, that i owned both of them, one was stolen in a burglary and i still have the Kirk revolution frame intact in the shed. i expect jibes but thats ok as i was very happy with the construction and unlike other users had no prolbems with the frames at all. -- brigadoom007 |

Let's see you had 2 Kirk Magnesium frames, of which, one was stolen and the other is "intact" in the shed. That about says it all. As I have stated, DON'T RIDE IT! Just about every example that has been made, and USED, broke. The best place for these frames is in the shed. The only other place for one of these ugly frames is in a "museum", like he http://www.firstflightbikes.com/KirkPrecision.html |

Motomags was the name of them, and I nearly broke my neck from breaking one of them. Magnesium makes a great laxative, but not very good bike parts. winnard |
