I can sort of understand Judith not knowing about building materials - after all, I know little enough. But I would expect a handyman to know something about the subject. Indeed, I wouldn't expect anyone outside a small specialised sub-set of construction professionals to know what breeze actually is. I wouldn't expect you or Judith or indeed anyone else who frequents the group to know what it is. I certainly would not criticise anyone for not knowing. What is objectionable, however, is someone that doesn't know what they are talking about laying into someone else and labeling that person an idiot (or worse) for not knowing something the criticiser obviously doesn't understand either. Also, it takes a special kind of stupid to criticise someone for not knowing something you didn't know, and actually getting it so wrong they were more right than you. regards, Ian SMith -- |\ /| no .sig |o o| |/ \| |

My mistake was believeing that breeze/breize was a generic term for concrete blocks, and not just lightweight concrete blocks made from ash and cinder. Blockwit's howler was that breeze blocks were just compacted ash and cinder without cement to bond it together. Judith's mistake was to believe that Blockwit knew what he was talking about. |

Good - because you certainly do not know : breeze blocks are made out of cinders and ash; it is quite wrong to say that they are concrete blocks - as they aren't. Are *all* psycholists liars? |
