MOUSE ATE MY BOB TRAILER!
How do I repair rodent damage to PVC coated nylon? It's the big "Dry Sak"
satchel that came with my BOB trailer. I've got a 1-inch hole in it where a mouse was going in and out while the trailer was in storage in my garden shed. How do I fix it so it's weatherproof again? I know what you're thinking -- there must have been food residue in it -- but you're wrong. The varmint seems to have been attracted to a MasterLock combo cable that I kept in there. It ate the rubber coating off half the length of cable. Must be a mighty tasty coating. Maybe I'll try the other half myself. Should I use barbecue sauce, or teriyaki? |

The real issue is that since it's a low-temp synthetic you can't use any hot-application products. You might go to a camping store type place and asking whoever their tent expert is. |
