First ride around the condo subdivision just to make sure everything
works. Handling is standard recumbent trike. Biggest adjustment is
getting in and out.

I like the green color, but would not yellow be seen on the road better? One
thing is for sure, all the kids in your neighborhood will love your
veolomobile, the rarest of all cycling contraptions.

I think you will find that the complete body faring does not make you much
faster. All trikes are slow, but that is OK with me as I am not into speed.
I am into all day comfort and trikes are ideal for that.

Apparently it is not possible to buy a velomobile for less than $5000. If I
could get one for $2000, I might be tempted.

Be sure to keep us informed as to how you like your new velomobile.

80 liters of internal storage behind the seat.

The first batch of 4 imported Rotovelos (Rotoveli?) was yellow, green,
blue and purple. When I ordered mine, the yellow had been sold, so I
took the green, since they come over on the slow boat from Oz.

I think you will find that the complete body faring does not make you much
faster. All trikes are slow, but that is OK with me as I am not into speed.

The fairing should keep me relatively warm and dry in less than ideal
unfaired cycling weather.

Apparently it is not possible to buy a velomobile for less than $5000. If I

The only way to get a velomobile for $2K would be to buy a less
expensive tadpole trike (e.g. Sun, TerraTrike) and build the fairing
yourself. Shipping on mine alone was more than $1K.

Be sure to keep us informed as to how you like your new velomobile.

Will work on getting the adjustments dialed in over the weekend, then I
can do some longer rides.

That sure looks like a lot of fun. You could probably get it paid for
by whoring yourself with some adhesive film advertising.

I was thinking more along the lines of "Never Before Campaign" stickers:
http://neverbeforecamp.wordpress.com/.

While I agree with the campaign, such seriousness has no place on a
velomobile. You should advertise something that both camps can
coalesce around, falafel.

A syntactical error from Meir Kahane's pithy original
phrase, which still resonates well after these many years.
