Are rim tapes made to measure, or do you cut them to fit? Will a rim tape
for a 700C wheel fit a 27" wheel? cheers, d. |

The hard plastic ones - which can crack with high tyre pressures - come in a continuous loop and have to be the right size. A Velox tape should fit a 27" wheel judging from the amount I cut off last time I used one on a 700c rim - there's only an inch difference. |

How do you join the ends together? You don't. Overlap the ends and do a diagonal cut to cut off the excess. Tony |

Only downside is if you break a spoke you need to replace it. Its not expensive though. Stan Cox P.S. make sure you get the correct width |
