The first bit of pull loosens the ratchet-lock, and the next bits ratchet and put the lock in a state such that when the shade is released it'll engage again. The SRAM mech might be different, but the same sorts of basic ideas can be used. Especially if the lock is always in such a state that it will engage again as the lever is released. Jasper |
