Andrew, I tried to find some information on Sheldon's site but I think that it isn't up to date enough.

I have a BB-7700 Octalink bottom bracket that is 109.5 mm wide. Is this for a double or a triple? I would have thought a double but I have a triple front derailleur in the same box.

Never mind, I just found it. The triple BB is 118.5 and the double is 109.5.

Your BB-7700 is for a DA double.
