Default Making up Uni bumper sticker

I've been thinking of making an order for a uni bumper-sticker, and I
have some samples, for your persusal and critique. I just want to make
a cool sticker, keep two, and sell the rest for, like $1.37 including
postage.

Really, the goal is funny, slightly superior (well we are, aren't we?),
and eye-opening, if possible (like the knobby tire might be). Any
suggestions to make a cooler sticker than the samples would be
welcome!

I can't draw people too well...maybe a stick-figure/pictogram of a
person/uni/rock or something would be good.

get a cafepress site and sell all of 'em. They'd retail for about 1.50
to 2 bucks there.

I liked them all, so you can go ahead and disregard this if you like

The font is going to be hard to read. Instead of a script, if you want
legibility (which IMHO is important for a bumper sticker that should
be read) is a sans serif font maybe bold.

I think the point of it isn't the humor, that most of us have seen or
heard before, but the idea that "there's a unicyilst in this car!"

How can that message be told in the simplest way?

A picture of a unicycle!!

If you want to carry a message about unicyclists, make the style of the
drawing like art from a familiar culture.
EG:
Unicycle in rainbow colors with a teddy bear riding: implies Dead head
Unicyclist on board.

Unicycle with Clown: nevermind, don't do that unless you want to get
hammered with bad rep by the anonymous anti-clown brigade (AACB)

Draw calligraphically as with painted skillfully with a spray can for a
city-gangsta unicycler look.

There was a 16th or 17th Century (Mikefule will know) Englishman named
William of Occham. Willy had a saying. "The simplest solution is most
likely the best." or something to that effect.

Well that's my 2c. I assumed you wanted it because you asked!

Good Idea. I'd buy probably several no matter what you decided to do!
Go for it!

(Oh-- how bout Calvin riding on a uni urinating on a bike) Just
kidding...

I agree with Podzol. Big blocky letters, and a picture of a non-clown
unicycle (er)....

I think it'd be pretty awesome if you could put catboy's UPD logo on a
bumper sticker. I'd buy that.

Flattered.

William of Ockham, famous for "Ockham's razor". He proposed that the
simplest explanation that fits the facts is the one to go with. In
reality, it is not inherently true, but is a good starting point for
avoiding faciful explanations for mundane things. However, Ockham's
razor would at one time have justified a belief in the sun and stars
orbiting the Earth.

More approriate here would be "KISS" - "Keep It Simple, Stupid". The
simpler the better.

Someone else once said that an army will march for a sentence, but not
for a paragraph - or words to that effect.

Google produces:

"Pluralitas non est ponenda sine neccesitate''

Ponenda - must be affirmed.
Sine = without
Necessite - needed, necessitated.
Non est - it isn't
Pluralitas - presumably something about plurality

Loose translation: "It is wrong to affirm additional entities unless it
is necessary."

And he was 14th Century - which is earlier than I would have guessed.

Gosh, we know how to party in haec foro.
