Default Driver remains in custody for GBH

"A 25-YEAR-OLD man has been remanded in custody charged in connection with an incident in Slough where a cyclist was involved in a collision with a car.

Adeel Ahmed, of Salisbury Avenue, Slough, was charged on Thursday night with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

He was remanded in police custody overnight to appear at Slough Magistrates' Court yesterday morning.

At yesterday's hearing, Ahmed was remanded in custody by the court. He is due to appear before Reading Crown Court on March, 7.

The collision took place in St Andrews Way, Cippenham, on Monday."
