Replacing an elastomer spring?
Hi,
I have a very nice 10-year-old Proflex bike, still overall in good shape except for the rear elastomer spring. It seems the company no longer exists, so I am looking for alternatives, either buying such elastomer springs from some other source, or using something else that works as well. For the time being, I am actually using a stack of rubber gaskets, but of course that does not work nearly as well as the real thing. Any ideas? Thanks! Ingo -- Keep American Families united! Cane Creek has 4 differing hardness elastomers. Thanks a lot! I just looked it up on the Web, and it seems there is a dealer near me. Wonderful information! -- Keep American Families united!
