That seems like a good inflation but people take about 100 psi plus. I recall my manual said min 90 but my tires did not rotate at that pressure. my tires are 26 high and 50mm fat. i am 170 lbs. I've never heard of a riding on tires inflated at 10 PSI. Perhaps your pressure gauge is inaccurate. Also, I don't follow: free rotation of wheels is independent of tire pressure. Would you please elaborate as to why your wheels do not "rotate at that [90 lbs] pressure"? Thanks luke |

2) Oil Disc Brake Mechanism (1 or 2 Drops per)
Uh, which part? You shouldn't ever need to oil anything on a disc brake. 3) Oil chain by applying oil to a cloth and running the chain through it. The oil gets nowhere that it needs to. 6) Roam the trails Ah, yes.... -- Phil, Squid-in-Training |

Some should *not* be oiled, though. RTFM before doing it. 3) Oil chain by applying oil to a cloth and running the chain through it. The oil gets nowhere that it needs to. Agreed. Oil the chain; use the cloth to wipe off the excess. 6) Roam the trails Ah, yes.... Seconded. -- Typoes are a feature, not a bug. Some gardening required to reply via email. It almost sounds as if they are using another system of measuring pressure. -- peet9471 |

I guess different tires have different psi requirements. There is a 32
on my rear tire and a 31 on the front tire. I can't find any other numbers. When i inflated it up to 90 psi the rim pushed out side ways and the brake trapped the tire. I went out riding for 20 kms on about 26 psi and it was fine. My pressure guage is accurate. |

wider tires don't require nearly as much pressure. 45 psi is good.
10psi is low but you can ride fine. |
