Does an afro affect wind resistence?
I'm proud to be the new Clown in town! Think my "fro" will "slow" me down?

Does an afro affect wind resistence?
I have an afro, too, but only around the edges because I have a big
bald spot on top, We call it the "Bozo The Clown Look". Well, anyway, I did some wind tunnel tests of my head with the afro and without, and found that my shaved head had a higher coefficient of drag than it did with the afro! Apparently the afro channels the air over the bald spot in a very efficient manner. So if you want to reduce your wind resistance, get a picture of Bozo the Clown and emulate it. |
