Default black moldy crud in old water bottle

I forget, isn't there some way to get rid of the black moldy cruds in
old water bottles? Vinegar? Baking soda? Does anybody remember?
Thanks.

Hydrogen peroxide, with some mechanical scrubbing works fine. btw, this
'black fungus' was found in city-bottled water here, and found harmless.

Pee into the bottle.. once filled, shake the pee...

Let stand overnight ..

Open bottle, pour out pee.

Puke..

Go to bicycle store, buy new bottle.

There ya go .. all set.

When I want to gently mechanically scrub something like this, I dump in a
handful of coffee grounds and shake vigorously. (The bottle, not myself.)

* *Nice long soak in bleach?

Bleach is generally good at killing everything. May leave an aftertaste
in some polymers, but a lemon juice rinse may relieve that (in my
experience).

bleech, then I find a bit of mouthwash with some water to add some
volume, shake and rinse out: ususally gets rid of the crap and the
bleech aftertaste

mold doesn't adhere readily to polyethylene, so usually a bottle brush
and some soapy water will do the job.
