Mountain biker hurt

NORTHFIELD — A 32-year-old man was flown to Dartmouth Hitchcock
Medical Center in Lebanon Saturday after sustaining serious injuries
while mountain biking.

Tilton-Northfield Fire Capt. Greg Michaud said the incident happened
at around 4:22 p.m. at Highland Mountain Bike Park in Northfield.

He said the department was not releasing the man's name and he did not
know if the man lives locally.

He declined to give further details about the man's injuries beyond
saying he fell about 15 feet down a slope while biking and was
seriously injured.

The man was airlifted from the park to the Dartmouth facility, he
said.
