Bruised ego
So there I was approaching the junction, uncliped right foot, slowed down, and for some strange reason the bike (it couldn't possibly have been my fault :-) decided to tilt to the left. Somehow I managed to get my left foot unclipped as I was falling, and put it down to stop me hiting the ground, only to have the bloody plastic Look cleat go sliding away from me, planting me on teh floor in a very undignified heap :-( I'm sure I caused the motorist there much hilarity, but at least the motorcyclist asked me if I was Ok as I sheepishly got up off the deck.

Bryan No harm done, goodstuff... Almost suffered the same fate at a set of traffic lights on the way home....pulled up slightly, leaned to the left and put foot out, only for a gust of wind to catch me and start to blow me to the right....where there was a car waiting....and I weigh 15 stone, so must've been some gust. Luckily, 'cos it was only a quick gust I managed to get it back to the left.... |
