Mavic rim damage help!!
I need some advise.
I have a small dent on the edge my clincher Mavic Ksyrium SSL wheel from hitting a pothole. I need to know the best way to get this out? Any advise? Thanks |

Good advice and the only reasonably alternative that should be followed as a friend of mine found out that the cost of a replacement rim for this wheel is like $150 or more!~ Yow! The more I hear about Ksyriums, the happier I am that I didn't get them. Guess I'll stick with my ponderous CXP-33s. Dave |

Dave- The more I hear about Ksyriums, the happier I am that I didn't get
them. Guess I'll stick with my ponderous CXP-33s. BRBR Weigh them and you will see that they aren't that 'ponderous'. maybe 200 grams max(6-7 ounces) and even with a 105 or Veloce hub, superior rear hub to any modern ksyrium. But there heavier than Open Pros, right? Dave |

yep but we are talking grams difference, 20 or 30. Peter Chisholm Vecchio's Bicicletteria 1833 Pearl St. Boulder, CO, 80302 (303)440-3535 http://www.vecchios.com "Ruote convenzionali costruite eccezionalmente bene" |

Was 200 a typo? I doubt if any standard clincher rims are anywhere near that light. Dave Lehnen |
