He should have worn a helmet, the magical force field would have steered him away from the edge.

You seem to be the only person who has suggested that, unless you can
cite otherwise.

We have been told many times that the only safety precaution cyclists need to take is to wear a helmet.

And a functioning pair of Mk I eyeballs.

And a functioning brain.

And a willingness to obey the law and to be courteous.

Given those, you can see why they are so often in difficulties.

Hardly a jackpot.
He was 40.
25 years earning potential at an average cyclist salary of £100kpa +
interest + promotion + pension + investments + stocks..

Care to cite these earning for this cyclist?
Thought not. You do live in your own little stupid cycling bubble.
Get real! Most cyclists are too stupid to drive a car. All they have
is a bike, a council flat and a life on the dole.
No woman, no future, no money and no hope. Just like you.

Why are you obsessed with cyclists' lifestyles? Anyone would think it's
envy.

You must have missed the number of times cyclists have been advised not
to ride on the inside of left turning vehicles, not to jump red lights
and many others.

Did you not see these items in various posts?

Irrelevant, we have been told many times if cyclists wear helmets they are immune from all harm.
