I finally ordered a bicycle! Thanks to all those who helped me!
I finally went to a bicycle dealer and plunked down an order today...
phew... finally... So what is it? The Redline Monocog of course. For someone who has very basic needs as myself and from the positive feedback I've gotten in e-mail I really think this is a better buy compared to the Bianchi SASS I've been drooling about. I plan to only take this to parks and bike paths - never off road - and no tricks. Just sweaty knee crushing fitness on the paths to get my butt in shape. The only initial upgrades is a more hybrid like tire that is puncture resistant as well as a puncture resistant tube. Still researching on a less aggressive hub. I want to thank again everyone who helped me out! |
