Virginia Creeper Trail
I had the opportunity to ride the Virginia Creeper Trail during a
recent vacation in Soutwest Virginia. It is a very nice trail. For those less inclined (excuse the pun) to ride to the top, there are a number of shuttle services in Damascus, VA that will take you to the top for the ride down. I rode to the top and met my wife and kids for the ride down. Nice way to mix a hard ride with a family ride. Anyway, for those who like nice rails to trails, the Creeper trail is worth a visit. Here are some links to help plan your trip. http://www.vacreepertrail.org/ http://www.damascus.org/outfitters.html http://www.southernregion.fs.fed.us/gwj/mr/creeper.htm |

The website mentioned a fully equipped kitchen rather than meals usually available at a B&B. |
