So if the 99 tour is now virtually out what is the new total.

Lance and Lemond tied at 6?

If Lafferty had his way Lance would have 7 virtual losses. But even then he
wouldn't be able to hold a candle to Lafferty who has had the real thing.

Poor guy, Zulle retired just a couple of months ago and he's
already forgotten.

And the funny thing is that EPO probably wasn't a factor since the causeway
crash was what wrecked Zulle's hopes...

Actually read these two again...after 6 years, it's all in there

"Kevin explained to me that on the Tourmalet, while riding tempo, Virenque
came up to him and asked him what his problem was. Kevin told him he didn't
have a problem what was his problem. Virenque looked at Kevin and asked him if
he was going "au bloc." That means all out, or very hard. Kevin looked at
Virenque and told him "no" are you going "au bloc?" As he said that he clicked
up a few gears and rode away. It was funny and Virenque was ****ed."

Then go google groups for fdreu

------------------------
I don't think he's forgetten by real cycling fans,
the 95 stage in the tour where he went on that
long breakaway and put Indurain under pressure -
he got 2nd that year. Vuelta wins, some Giro stages, World
TT champ, Tour of Switzerland, Tour prologue, road stage of
Paris-Nice and got up there in a
few classics too, the guy was a seriously classy rider.

Of course, he's just covering his own back. He's worried that
if they test his samples from the 1960's, someone else will
take over as virtual "Eternal Second."

Hey, be kind. After all, he would hold some ephemeral virtual Tour
wins between the time Merckx was tested and he was tested.
