Any seller will send it back to Polar (SA), depending on demand, back
in a week.

I've used Cecil Walker in the past

I've always had good service, on the 2nd replacement battery since
2003. $25 every 2 years is cheap to keep a $500ish product working and
still warrantied.

IIRC Von took her Polar strap to a watchmaker/fixer and they were able
to re-batter it.

if you have a 725, I'm guessing you have a 'WearLink' belt, the 'soft'
one that unclips in the middle?

If so, it might not be the battery, coz those belts can stuff up if
they're not washed enough, like mine did.

Anyhoo, I got my 2025 battery at the local chemist for a few bucks
