Tipper trucks, skip trucks and concrete mixers, the most common sort
of vehicle have one thing in common. They do not have to have side
guards fitted. Even the Mayor of London has called for these lorries
to have side guards fitted.

(Of course we do not yet know if this truck had side guards.)
