Man arrested on suspicion of drink-driving following collision with cyclist

You may mean that alcohol levels to establish intoxication do apply to both cyclists and drivers, but not for enforcing the law. Maybe drunk cyclists sensing guilt would instinctively refuse to give a sample. |

I do believe that an ignorant police officer once stopped a cyclist coming out of a pub and forcibly breath tested and later charged him for being over the driving limit. When it came to court, the defence barrister said the numpty officer was lucky that HE was not being charged with assault and soon after, the judge let the cyclist go free without charge. |
