Default Replacing Ultegra cassette with Dura-Ace

I currently have an Ultegra drivetrain with a 9-speed Ultegra cassette
(CS-6500) on my road bike, which is several years old and needs
replacing.

I may be able to get a good deal on a 9-speed Dura-Ace CS-7700
cassette. Is it possible to replace an Ultegra 9-speed with a
Dura-Ace 9-speed cassette, without any problems? Could I even change
the gearing to, say, a 12-25 tooth cassette instead of the 11-23
Ultegra that I currently have? Just use a chain whip and a lock nut
remover and I'm done?

Set proper chain length with the 25 (i.e. do not match old chain
length). Otherwise go ahead.

You may need to replace the chain too. Won't know until you try it,
but it is a pretty common rule of thumb to replace the cassette and
chain at the same time. Lots of people (but not the majority in my
experience) do not haev to if they clean the drive train with some
regularity. The cleaner you keep it, the less likely you will be to
need a new chain.

Yes. Yes. Chain whip, cassette tool, and one of the following: Bench
vice, large wrench, or cassette tool holder.

You can certainly make that change (although as someone mentioned, your
chain might not be long enough for the 12-25), but you may not want to.
I've never had a noisy Ultegra cassette, but cannot say the same for
DuraAce. There can sometimes be issues with the mounting of the Ti cogs
to the carrier body. Also, there is no improvement whatsoever in
shifting between the two and, in fact, it's likely you'll see faster
wear on the Ti cogs than the very-high-quality hardened steel on the
Ultegra.

You will save about 2 ounces in weight if I recall correctly.

Actually, I'm mistaken. I don't have an 11-23 cassette on my bike,
it's a 12-25. Could I change it to a 12-27 without having to lengthen
the chain? Is there some rule of thumb regarding chain lengthening
when moving to a larger cassette, eg. add a link to your chain for
every two teeth increase in cassette size?

Also, would a Dura-Ace Ti cassette wear faster than a nickel plated
steel Ultegra cassette?

With the bike on a stand or while holding it, very gingerly try to
shift to put the chain on the 27 and the big ring up front. If it's
long enough to do that, you're OK. If it isn't, you need a longer
chain.

Cassettes normally outlast several chains. The key is to replace the
chain when it "stretches" 1/16" over 12 full links.

The chain may be long enough. If it's not, bad things can happen.
Here's how to tell:

The Ti cogs (which I think are only the larger ones) definitely will.
