To Lube Or Not To Lube Shifter Cables That is the Question!
oil/grease is impassable but wax/wax teflon is foolproof
is it pawsyble to insert a brake cable into the shifter housing? |

To Lube Or Not To Lube Shifter Cables That is the Question!
As n addendum to my last post, I would not use any kind of petroleum

Says it right on the bottle. -- Phil Teflon (PRFE) used for liners is impervious to lubricants and pretty much ALL liquids at normal temperatures. Declarations to this effect on the lube package is just advertising hype, sort of like saying water is designed to not attack water bottles. mC |
