Default Can I spike a road tire?


For snow, I'm all about knobby, but for ice, I find it knobby doesn't
cut it.
Also, I've never found a 28" knobby. Only 29" (which doesn't fit.)

There are narrow knobbly tyres sold for cyclocross. Have a look on
www.wiggle.co.uk for some examples (click on tyres-cyclocross in the
menu on the left).
