Any pictures of Marty Nothstein as velodrome director yet?

Has he gotten old, heavy, and slow?

We all get old at the same rate.

I doubt he is heavy, though he was always bigger than your average
cyclist, no?

As for slow.... that word has several meanings, you know. Be
specific.

Just an attempt at joking; I'm pretty sure Marty will NEVER get old,
fat, and slow, especially in comparison with me!

I used to turn the lap counter and ring the bell at the 7-11 Olympic
Velodrome in LA, and remember well how dominant Marty was when he
visited out here in what would be "pre-season" for the T-town crowd.
That was before he had his World Championship and Olympic glory years.
He would not only win the omnium for the Pro-1-2 group, he'd win every
one of the races that made up the omnium. And then, I'd see him racing
a crit someplace around town, and he'd win that, too!
