Dear All,

I have been getting into custom frame and component painting and was
wondering if this would be the place to discuss this topic. If not, is there
a better place to post?

How polite. Unless you can find rec.bicycles.airbrushing then it sounds
reasonably on topic to me!

I agree- very polite!

This is a good resource- but the framebuilder's list:
http://www.phred.org/mailman/listinfo/framebuilders
may give you better quality answers.

Richard Sachs, Brian Bayliss, and others hang out the classicrendezvous.com
mail list. The focus is old bikes, and most of the discussion is about
restoring older classics, but there are good threads on paint and
restoration that might be of interest to a painter.
