My first club ride after moving to California a pick-up truck driver,
enraged that he was delayed by a line of cyclists on a narrow road, hit
two people in the club. Fortunately the injuries were minor. And while
it was a hit and run, he was quickly apprehended. There have been
multiple people killed on that road. One by a quarry truck driver, two
by a sheriff's deputy. The quarry truck driver got a year in jail. The
sheriff's deputy did not time, claiming he fell asleep.

Can you find any examples of motorists who got killed while driving in
California? If so, better yell "Danger! Danger!" about driving as well!
And then there are the pedestrians...

Yeah, it works to kill people instantly. Like a rider out here. Car
slowed to turn left, the following driver thought she'd just move into
the right lane then and pass ... "Oh no!" ... SCREEEECH ... *BANG* ...
cyclist dead.
