The Independent: a newspaper in the UK. Slightly left leaning rather
smug middle class, but less rabidly political than the other
broadsheets.

In the Saturday supplement they have a one page interview in which they
ask the same questions every week of a minor celebrity. It gives the
interviewee a chance to present themselves in a good light, displaying
their fashionable green, slightly arty, concerned parent, blissfully
happily married credentials. It's usually pretentious codswallop.

This week, the minor celebrity is Peter Serafinowicz, "Actor and
Comedian, age 36" who chooses to use the interview to showcase his zany
off the wall sense of humour. Yawn!

But one amusing answer. The question each week is either "I ride..."
or "I drive..." and his answer to "I ride a Harley Davidson unicycle.
I bought it from a Hell's Clown."

Nice idea. There used ot be some posters int his forum who called
their gang "Hell on Wheel" - I loved the singular.

Hells Angels (there is no apostrophe) are not angels. Unicyclists are
not (usually) clowns.

We should form an international brotherhood of badd ass unicyclists.
Harper for President!

Who's going to design the Hells Clowns logo and get some patches made
up?

Here's a link to an inspirational picture of the original Hells Angels

I really like this idea, and I think my avatar fits well with this
topic.

I do like the "Hell on Wheel", makes me laugh, though I don't remember
the particular gang you mention.

Being a biker too, I'd love to be a Hell's Clown.

The prospect of Bohemian Hells Angels (no apostrophe) is quite
intriguing. The following (from Wikipedia) seems to have some
parallels.

-The term bohemian, of French origin, was first used in the English
language in the nineteenth century[1] to describe the untraditional
lifestyles of marginalized and impoverished artists, writers,
musicians, and actors in major European cities. Bohemians were
associated with unorthodox or antiestablishment political or social
viewpoints, which were often expressed through non-marital sexual
relations, frugality, and/or voluntary poverty.-

No mention of biting the heads off bats or raping old ladies at all!

Oh, and I guess I can only be a Hells Clown prospect until I can
freemount

But I'd love to join then!

Hmmm. In view of the Hells Angels' reputation for traumatically
percussive "litigation", can I just disassociate myself from that
remark?

Team Unicycle Max was sponsored by Joy Cone for RTL. Check out their old
clown logo...

If that's not Hells Clown, I don't know what is.

There was even a uni-gang turf war between Hell on Wheel, based in
Virginia / D.C. and Thunderwheels, based in Pensylvania, though
claiming membership all over the world.

I have a Muni Militia T-shirt from a while back.
