Default What kind stem?

My wife's pink-and-black bike is coming along nicely. The pink
streamers, pink seat, pink seat bag and pink bottle cage are great. She
requested a more upright position so I've ordered a Nitto Albatross 56
cm CrMo Handlebar
(http://www.rivbike.com/webalog/handl...ape/16122.html), and I
have pink brake cable housings on hand. Couldn't find any pink SIS
shifter housings, so we're going black there.

The handlebar stem on the bike is pretty long, and I know from my
classic old mid-60's three-speed Austrian-made Sears bike that
swept-back handlebars don't have particularly long stems. I'd like to
get a shorter stem. The bike's headset is described as "Intellaset, 1
1/8” integrated threadless, alloy cap, alloy cone spacer."

Can someone point me to a suitable stem?

While not extremely elegant, a shorter 90mm adjustable threadless
rotated all the way up will give you both a short extention and a
goodly bit of height.

or get a nonadjustable 90mm with a very steep angle--which will reduce
the reach considerably:
