I'll certainly nose at it, but I bought their "Crane sport" mits a few
months back (sprintime I guess), and they are in tatters now. The fabric is
not durable and the stiching very poor.

It's a long-standing tradition among cyclists to re-stitch their track
mitts every so often.

I've had to restitch some Altura mitts on several occasions whereas the
cheapie ones from Aldi & Lidl have lasted much longer than the Altura ones!

Cheers, helen s

The shorts I got from Aldi last spring were the best of the LIDL/ALDI/Netto
batch and are still going strong.

I like the look of the winter jacket ( in yellow) for my new trike (
delivered next Tuesday!). Gloves are always a problem in the winter and I
have yet to find a glove that I can cycle for a long ride without becoming
soaked inside. I shall give the ALDI ones a try ---- and those overshoes as
well -- whatever you wear for foot protection, feet get wet in the
rain ---!!!! -- but overshoes keep your feet warm (even if wet).

So I shall be out at crack of dawn! ( ish!)
