Brush Fire Along Loveland Bike Trail

It was a bit of a scare for people who were enjoying a nice day on the Loveland
bike trail Tuesday.

Someone on the bike path called for help after noticing smoke in the woods by
the Old Peter's cartridge factory in Hamilton Township.

It turned out to be a brush fire.

"At this time we don't know what started it other than maybe embers from a
chimney," said Kris Holbrook, a Hamilton Township firefighter.

"Inspectors are up there and now it's under control," said Holbrook. "It was
under control very quickly."

No injuries were reported.
