QUOTE:
Cold liquid thrown onto the back of a cyclist in Maidenhead is being treated as assault by police.

At around 10.50pm on Wednesday, June 24 the victim, a 55-year-old man, was cycling along the A308 towards Windsor around the junction with St Lukes Road, when a car drove alongside him and the passenger threw a cold liquid onto his back.

The car, believed to be a grey BMW 118l, continued to drive alongside the victim until accelerating off after a couple of minutes.

The liquid thrown is not believed to be harmful and the victim did not sustain any injuries as a result.

Holy water to a *cyclist* is what you meant.

As we are all aware, it is obvious that cleanliness is anathema to cyclists.
