Yes but their bodies - torsos and arms - are all exactly parallel. The guys on port should be twisted just a hair to one side, and those rowing starboard should be twisted just slightly to the other side.

Now here is a truly great rowing photo. I say truly great because the oar is bending. And the stroke is almost over. Obviously I was putting down a tremendous amount of power.

Team rowing do NOT twist one way or the other since this can offset the boat by the weight of the various members of the team and increase friction.
