Lightweight Easton Aluminium 1991 Trek 8000 47cm - $275 OBO

This hardtail mountain bike was barely used and works well. Only adjustment needed is in the front gear shifter which is a little loose.

The bike frame measures 18.5" or 47 cm (from center of pedal crank to top of seat tube). Standover height is 29" or 74 cm. I am 5'5" and this bike fits me well.
The bike frame is made of Easton 7000 E9 Heat Treated aluminium alloy and its tubes are double butted. The wheel size is 26". Other specifications are shown below:

- Length of top tube: 20.5" or 52cm
- Tioga T-Bone stem & True Temper frame fork
- Shimano Total Integration (STI) gearshift system with Deore DX derailleurs, pedals, crankset and FH-M650 hubs
- Matrix MT AERO ATB 26" Heat Treated wheel rims & Avocet tires

Hello,

I live in Chicago and I'm looking to for a bike. I am fairly new to buying bikes so I am wondering will this be a good size for me. I am a male with a height of 68" (5 ft 8 in). If so I would like make an offer of $260.

Is everything on the bike stock? Has there been any modifications? Will this be good for a male 5 ft. 8 in (68") tall.

By any chance, is your Trek 8000 still available for sale? Please let me know as I have been looking for one to restore. Thanks
