The rumor was first heard two weeks ago. About that time,
participation in the NY Crit was taken off the table, and look how
quickly the incorrect Zurich WC press release was discounted by the
man. It looks like the Aug 17th Chicago race is a strong possibility.

Right - Lance at a 12 corner crit (with a history of crashes). Maybe
for sponsor reasons, but he's too big for that these days.
