When your LiveSTRONG band breaks...
Cat Dailey wrote:
My sister has breast cancer. I wear it so that I can see the "LIVESTRONG" and then I think of her and say a little prayer. Every time I ride (indoors/outdoors/whatever) and I feel like wimping out on my workout, I see the LIVESTRONG and I ride for her, because she can't. If other people see my "stupid yellow bracelet" and ask me what it's for, I tell them and then I ask them to make a donation, too. You have no idea how much the wearer donated when he/she got the bracelet, btw. That's true that I don't know the exact amount of the donation. You have a point. And I prefer it that way. I will say a prayer for your sister, even though I don't have a bracelet. I wish her strength. Bob Schwartz |
