Well, you're right of course. But isn't that the whole point of this
newsgroup anyway? To obsess over minutiae like this? (and argue over
h*lm*ts) Besides, it's winter -- perfect time for futzing around. Not
to mention I've got at least another week to wait before all my parts
get here and I can finally start building. HURRY UP ALREADY, UPS!!!

Default OK to use full length of uncut steerer tube?

I have 3 in of spacers on my cross bike. Gets the bars up to the saddle
is is quie comfy on and off road
