Default Square-Tapered Cranks

Is there any mechanical advantage (better stress loading) on a square
aligned square-tapered crankset or a diamond aligned square-tapered
crankset? Assuming most people really do apply the bulk of the force
on the down stroke.

I'm quite curious about this.

No difference.

Unless you use one of each and then you can have a Harley crank on your chopper
bike.
